About Us
Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
At Minds Matters MD, we believe mental health care should be compassionate, personal, and rooted in genuine understanding. Our practice was created with one mission: to provide thoughtful, patient-centered psychiatric care for adults that truly honors each person’s unique story.
We know that everyone who reaches out to us carries their own history — challenges, victories, grief, resilience, and the desire to feel whole again. Here, your feelings are valid, your struggles are heard, and your healing is our priority.
We offer comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adults 18 and older, using a trauma-informed, evidence-based approach. Whether you’re navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, mood changes, grief, or emotional overwhelm, you are met with empathy, expertise, and the time you deserve. No rushing. No judgment. No cookie-cutter plans.
Our care philosophy is simple: we listen, we understand, and we walk beside you.
We take pride in longer appointment times, clear communication, and working in collaboration with primary care providers and therapists to ensure you receive seamless support from every angle.

Our Story
Minds Matters MD was built from both professional dedication and personal experience. After years of working in inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, we saw how many people were rushed through care, unheard, or left without real support. We created this practice to change that.
Our story is one of resilience, compassion, and the belief that mental health care should feel human.
We know what it’s like to walk through grief, trauma, stress, and overwhelm — and we bring that understanding into every appointment. Minds Matters MD was founded on the idea that healing begins with connection, honesty, and a provider who truly listens.
Today, we are proud to offer a calm, supportive space where adults can receive thoughtful medication management, clear guidance, and care that treats the whole person. This practice exists because we believe your mind matters, your story matters, and you deserve care that reflects that.
